my australian boss, andrea, never tasted a pop tart till she visited the american military base in yokohama last november, after which she fell into an obsession. the passion was all-consuming but fleeting. after ordering three cases, the nutritionally-preachy aussie realized she is altogether too dainty for such dense sweets. they're sitting on our kitchen shelves and in the office at her English school, like silent majestic icons of the USA.
do i like pop tarts?
products from home are nice. they hold a growing glowing. that thing i was looking for which ties me to america seems to be developing every day. i didn't like pop tarts when i lived in pop tart land, but i feel a bit possessive of them here. i think i will eat them all.

are you going to take the crusts off? because it's really the inner jelly fruit part that matters. i think you should take the crusts off. really. they're kinda gross.
she got horrible flavors like "cookies and cream," and "ice cream sundae". no fruit in sight. so the whole thing's gross. but good.
that's sick. ice cream sundae huh. i don't think they have that flavor here.
